Although not new to SimSig, I am still in the learning phase. My latest problem concerns the Cowlairs '84 timetable. The level crossing at Greenfoot is now (0845) closed (ie barriers lowered) but instead of 'CLEAR' is showing 'CROSSING BLOCKED BY ROAD VEHICLE', Can anyone help me, please? I'm cautioning all trains past the Crossing. Is this correct procedure and/or should I be taking any other action to clear the blockage.

Many thanks

"Crossing blocked by road vehicle" should let you know that cautioning a train past is likely to lead to an unhealthy juxtaposition of road vehicle and train! You have to cancel any route set over the crossing, then raise the barriers so that the trapped vehicle can escape the crossing. Then re-set the route/re-lower the barriers and everything should be tickety-boo.

Edit - MJD posted while I was typing.
