Hey guys. Now that we've got SimSig Loader running the show, would it be possible to have it remember the position of all my windows each time I open a given sim? I have a fairly large monitor and am able to fit all of Brighton on it using two 'view' windows, one on top of the other. I've then got the clock panel, messages, timetable and train list over on a second monitor. It's only a minor inconvenience to set it up again each time I reopen SimSig, doesn't take more than a minute or two, but do we have the capability to set it to just automatically remember where everything was last time? This is something I support and would like to see done if at all possible. I'm a great advocate of resizing the messages and view window(s) to maximise the areas you can see and the amount of messages you can see - something I personally find very useful to myself, especially on the busier simulations. edited to add I wouldn't personally expect it to use the exact same sizes across all simulations, but to ideally remember the sizes and positions for each individual simulation for the next time that one is loaded. I should really like to see this. I have two large monitors (for the day job!) and there are a number of scrolly sims (even Marylebone) where I can get the entire area on the screens using multiple windows. It is a bit of a pain, though, having to do it every time you start. Saving the window positions for each sim would be a great idea if at all possible! Different thread, I know, but can I add my thanks for all the work that went into Marylebone? I've only got to 0710 so far, but I'm having great fun. Log in to reply |
