I have a problem with the new SimSig loader, which means I cannot select the folder I downloaded the new sims to (On another Hard Drive) to load the sims from the correct folder. When I goto 'select folder', I am only presented with the option to select a folder on my C drive, but the sims are on my G drive. Any ideas why this is and how to fix it? thanks in advance Last edited: 15/07/2013 at 18:03 by GW43125 Log in to reply |

In this topic (http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=14&id=35526&Itemid=0) regarding the loader there is a workaround but is up to you if you want to go altering around the registry and at your own risk. see below for the details Entimix wrote Gareth " said: As discussed in the other thread, this is a known issue with the Loader on Windows 7. (Has anyone tried it on Vista or 8?) I believe, as Barry said, that it's being worked on and will hopefully be fixed soon. In the meantime, it's possible to add folders not on the C: drive to the loader's list by adding them directly in the Registry: Log in to reply The following user said thank you: GW43125 |
