Clive has resurrected the Fenchurch St simulation! More details here. Considering the work that's gone into this, I'm sure most of you will agree that the cost is very low at just £5.

Does this make it qualify as a (first) heritage SimSig? :doh

It appears the link to the manual isn't working.

I have purchased a license but there is no entry in my license manager page. I have sort of downloaded the files but they don't seem to install on my computer. So once again I am stuck with a problem. I have loaded the sim using the new sim loader program but it remains in demo mode.

I'm not sure what you mean by "sort of downloaded" - if the sim is running at all, even in demo mode, you have downloaded and installed it something. The loader should cycle through three pictures when you select the sim, and you should be offered two timetables. Is that happening? If so, the download and install was successful. I'm afraid I can't help with the licence bit - that will have to wait for Geoff or someone else who knows how to unblock it. Once it's sorted out, the sim will automatically unlock. Log in to reply |

Very nice. Any chance that some time in the future it might be chained up with the NLL? Although what might complicate matters slightly is that the area around platform 1 and the connecting line is duplicated in both simulations. Is it possible for the area of control to be changed in chained mode only?

Thanks for your help Clive. The new SimSig loader does load the Fenchurch Sim which suggests it has been installed somewhere on my computer although its still stuck in demo mode. I will wait and see if Geoff can solve that problem later.

Having an issuing checking out, I get an error message saying "No Payment Methods Found" EDIT I've managed to checkout now, although the error still appeared it presented me with the normal option to pay via Paypal. I can load that game with no problem. It does take several seconds to load, with the display changing several times, but it ends up in the new layout at 10:23 with 11 trains in the simulation and then runs fine.

Great to see Fenchurch Street back again. In 2007 stayed at Novotel hotel across the road from the station and went on a number of train journeys from there. Thanks for releasing this Sim.

In the loader i'm receiving this message: "This simulation uses features not supported by this version of the loader. You need to update your loader." However when i try to this within the loader i get an error message "error downloading update file" I'm running SimSig through parallels (with shared folders) on a Mac. Thanks, Rob Log in to reply |
