I was going to fill in the two missing rule links but have a problem.

Reading the Wiki covering the two rules of Join and Form that are currently compleated
I was unable to see any difference.

My understanding is the Join is used where the trigger event is the actual joining of
two trains (Train A to Train B). Is the trigger as the "Join" starts or when the
"Join" is completed? (1A01 J:1A02 N:1A03)

"Formed" is when a "New Train" appears (1A01: N:1A02).

From the above, both Rules finish with a "New Train" so "What is the actual difference"

If someone can give me the difference then I will create the two missing entries.

"When formed" could cover a new train being formed by ANY of New, Divide/detach or Join, rather than a specific Join. Trying to think of an example.

The trigger is "finished joining", least that what it says on the tin.

Edit: Have put draft pages into WIKI, please edit as required.

This is a guess as I can't test at the moment.

You can join without forming a new train.

As in 1A00 arrives and joins to 2A00 then continues as 1A00 at twice the length.
So perhaps you can have a 1A00 can't depart till 4 mins after 1A00 has finished joining- at a guess you could also have 'after 2A00 finished joining' as the alternative- I think a test would need to be done to confirm all this.

Hope that helps.

Ta both, that got the brain cells working.

"Join" equals 1A01 joins 1B02, end, not interested in what they become or do, if anything.
Example T:xxxx 1A01 J:1B02. Trigger's T:xxxx activity.

"Forms" equals 1A01 becomes 1B02
Example T:xxxx 1A01 N:1B02. Trigger's T:xxxx activity.

Will now go away and think about the wording for them both.

Peter's hit the nail.
That example does happen in existing TTs, and will work, to give an appropriate dwell time.

Yes. There is however some slight confusion in the AppAfter Rules.

Some of them state Train "T" may or may not be involved in the trigger.
This reference needs to be removed, train "T" CAN NOT be involved with the trigger as it
does not appear in the Sim until after the trigger event.
