Just been playing the excellent Victoria LUL Sim, but I think I've found a minor bug: I receive a message stating that coded manual operation between Finsbury Park and Seven Sister NB is in operation. The first train runs through at reduced speed. I save and exit the game. Upon restarting, the CMO is no longer in the incident log and trains run at normal speed. After a while a message appears saying "06:06:44 Coded Manual operation at 0 now lifted" Last edited: 10/11/2013 at 10:50 by jnjkerbin Log in to reply |

I've just had the message "05:09:04 Coded Manual operation between Highbury & Islington and King’s Cross Southbound" And yet the first train through the section, V212, has proceeded through at normal line speed (36mph), with "Default" in the driving rules column of the Train List The only other messages I've had have been related to a door problem, coincidentally on V212, at Finsbury Park. There has been no message to say Coded Manual operation has ended. I have not saved or reloaded. Last edited: 10/11/2013 at 10:48 by gricehead Log in to reply |

This is also affecting train having technical difficulties. If I save and reload while a failure is in progress, from a practical point of view, everything is working fine, i.e. after the reloading, the failed train remains failed, then after a while you get the message that the problem has been cleared and the train does indeed move off, only the messages is referring to "Train 0", e.g. "Train 0 at Stockwell Platform 4 problem solved".

Seems to be a problem saving and possibly using Variables which I've reported as a CoreCode query. That might be linked to TSRs as well (which is what is used under the bonnet). Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

If you follow Tim Tam Tow's suggestion of looking at the manual there is a link to a web site that explains it far better than I can. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

(Copy of my post on this thread) Found a sort-of work-around to kind-of keep this particular type of failure somewhat realistic. Upon receiving notification of this via F7 - Incident Report, open up F11 - Incident Control Panel and use the TSRs (Temporary Speed Restrictions) tab to apply TSRs for all of the associated TCs. After you are informed Coded Manual Operation is now lifted, simply open up F11 - Incident Control Panel again and delete the TSRs. For those wondering, my first 'run in' with CMO lasted for 1hr and 46mins, however didn't seem to cause too much of a delay (probably 1 minute at most). Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.
