Working on a timetable for Wembley, using the 2006.TXT file provided (THANKS!) and convdata.

I have noticed that Tube trains reversing out of the relay track at Harrow wait for an additional 1.5-2 minutes before they depart, resulting in trains running 2 minutes late from there on.

Is there some underlying condition that I don't see that causes this delay? I'm thinking I need to make all of the departure times 2 minutes earlier than the WTT times to fix this - but like I said maybe I'm missing something...

Thanks,
Dave

Trains losing time is a known problem which has been discussed here

From the manual:

I am advised that not even the real signallers can make this timetable run to time.
There was also an issue in some other sims relating to trains departing from sidings late despite having arrived there on time or even early (something to do with minimum turnaround times?) This has now been fixed.

When I did my 2012 Wembley Timetable I used the WTT times from the LUL timetable and NR timetables available on line. Also I set the train speeds to very high (metro) which seem to fix the late running problem. Certainly when running the timetable late running was not a problem, not compared to my efforts anyway!

Good luck with the timetable, you will be losing the will to live making sure the Bakerloo trains step up correctly at Harrow! When I did mine I changed the LUL ID's in the Harrow turnback siding and did not use a separate ID for the ECS turnback manoeuvre to save several dozen interposes. I am not sure whether the 2006 Bakerloo LUL timetable is online but the one I used shows the trip numbers for the Bakerloo trains.

Hope this helps

I wondered if changing the trip in the reverse siding would work better (dropping the Harrow - Siding - Harrow relay trip)

I will try it thanks.

Yes, I usually do before I play though a sim. And for sure before attempting a timetable. I also have all of the documentation from davros.com

Were you referring to a different document?

There was a bug in the old core code that affected trains reversing and gave them a couple of minutes delay. Wonder if that's cropping up here.

If you do it as per the prototype the descriptions are changed in the siding. The same happens at Stonebridge and trains come out of the depot with the passenger descriptions, this has occurred since 1988 when the DC was resignalled.

I've only ever played the default TT that came with this sim, mindful of Clive's comment that "not even the real signallers can make this timetable run to time," though I've had a lot of fun with it nonetheless.

However, after reading this thread I see bnsf734 has uploaded not one but two timetables, each submitted on the same date and with the same version number but slightly differing titles (Friday August 3 2012 vs August 2012). Post #4 seems to imply that one is an improvement on the other, with some timing deficiencies corrected. Is this true and if so, which is the better one to run?
