Hi I have just downloaded and tried repeatedly to install this sim but I'm having no luck. First off, every time I have downloaded a sim before it has automatically downloaded to the following folder: C:\ProgrammeFiles(86)\SimSig. The exe file in this case attempts to download it to C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig. Now I am aware that you can browse to the folder of your choice and this I did. On past occasions downloading Sims what I get is a folder within the Simsig folder with the name of the sim containing the timetables files and an exe file to open the sim (also in the Simsig folder). On this occasion it creates another folder called Simsig(within the one I pointed to) along with a simulations folder containing a folder of splash pictures and a sim file, oh and the timetables. Within the newly created SimSig folder there is an uninstall exe and the relate dat and message file. Can't see and exe file to actually fire the sim up anywhere though. Well Ok I thought. Maybe I just made a mess of this. So I uninstalled and this time let the thing go where it wanted to, i.e. C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig. Same result. Well that's me flummoxed so any help would be gratefully received. Meep Log in to reply |

Are there different types then? Forgive me for what seems a dumb question, but I have been away from all things SimSig for some time. The itch to play never went away though!

So then, since you last downloaded a sim, we switched to a different system, having the simulation data files separate to the "bit that runs it all". Seems like you've got the data, you need to download the latest system files, this will give you the software (SimSig Loader) to run the simulation and a License Manager to manage your purchased simulations. Give that installer a try and see if that helps! Log in to reply |

SACRO OK I've downloaded the loader and it gets me into the sim now. Unfortunately It says I don't have the required licence so I only get a demo. Log in to reply |

Now you need to open the SimSig licence manager and 'allocate' a license to your computer.
