Hi Guys - I have tried to find the answer to this on the forum without success, and wondered if any of you could help in my first foray into the dark arts of timetables ............

On operating the Victoria LUL Sim in 'Severe Delays' mode, I noticed that some trains enter from Northumberland Park Depot before the train had actually returned from service. On checking, there are no rules written into the timetable, so I decided the best way to prevent this from happening is to amend the timetable by adding rules preventing trains from appearing before they had actually returned to the depot.

I have decided to use an arbitrary minimum turn round time of 12 minutes to allow the train to enter the depot, new crew to take over and return, but can anybody tell me what will happen if I write a rule preventing a train to appear 12 minutes after the train has returned, but it's scheduled appearance actually is a lot longer than that....? Will it appear to the timetable rule, or will it appear at the scheduled appearance time?

Hope that makes sense, and I look forward to the usual helpful responses.

Many thanks.

It will enter at the later of the 2 times. So the rule will only push the entry time later, if the rule time is satisfied before the due entry time, the train will still wait for its due entry time.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
