In the attached save, 5K00 has phoned in to claim he has a wrong route at CH52 - this is incorrect, as his next working, 2K00, is via Hednesford. Even more confusingly, having told him to abandon his timetable, he's phoned in again - how can a train have a wrong route if he has no route to follow?!

The reply given in that thread makes it sound it was assumed to be a TT error, rather than a sim bug? Edit: Perhaps it's a choice in the coding where Rugeley Platform 1 must be the next location, else the wrong route is flagged up? That would seemingly make sending untimetabled trains into Rugeley P1 impossible. Last edited: 01/04/2014 at 21:05 by Danny252 Log in to reply |

" said:The reply given in that thread makes it sound it was assumed to be a TT error, rather than a sim bug?Bingo you've hit the nail on the head The recent update of Stafford made it mandatory for a train from the DS/DF to platform 1 at Rugeley to have platform 1 in it's timetable - this is to prevent the seemingly common occurence of sim-signallers on Colwich panel wrong-routing by sending any ECS for Rugeley into P1 regardless of it's next working. As I said in my initial reply to the original thread regarding this issue - the timetable is being updated and will be released in due course. Log in to reply |

What about untimetabled trains (e.g. in disruption when you want to turn back something from Rugeley P1) - will it just have to be that you need to invent a timetable for the move?

The conditions for a train to accept the route are that the train is booked to call or pass Rugeley platform 1, so yes you'd have to make up a TT for any untimetabled shunts
