Hello all,
I'm attempting to update my 'loader' but every time I try to do so, I get an error claiming sim7ACB.tmp cannot be copied. Does anyone know a solution as I haven't seen anything on the forums yet?
Many thanks in advance,
Anthony

Make sure you haven't got two copies of the loader open at once.

Did you click "check for updates" in the Loader, or did you click on the executable?

Apart from the other advice, it could also be an anti-virus/anti-malware/firewall program taking offence with SimSig. Norton is one "security" system that is known to cause problems for SimSig.

@WelshDragon-I have tried both yet get the same result
@postal-I don't think that's the case. I use malware bytes/Symantec and none of them seem to be causing the issues.
many thanks to you both though,
Anthony

Seriously, turn off any anti-virus and firewalls, and then try to update the loader. There have been several issues with several different brands of software. At least if you do that, and it still doesn't work, then it's been ruled out.

Once done, you can turn them all on again.

I'm having the same issue, even with all anti-virus/firewalls disabled. I've tried using both the .exe and the check for updates. Here is the error I get:

Failed to copy C:\Users\Ryan\AppData\Local\Temp\sim9B6D.tmp to C:\Program File
(x86)\SimSig\SimSigrefresher.exe
[DebugMode] Press <enter> to continue

Just to check that you don't have any other copies of the loader open at the same time you're trying to update?

Just checked in the Task Manager, and no other copies of the loaded appear to be running.

I do indeed, there is only one user account and it's an administrator account.
