Hello all, Is this an entry error I've done? Basically no trains I've added will accept the route into Grosvenor Down Carriage Sidings B as apparently it's the wrong route. I thought I may have routed it wrong or something so I let ARS do the next one, and the same result, ARS sends the slot for Grosvenor Sdgs B, slot accepted, routed set to the top line with the 'B' next to it, that driver is not happy with that either. The location for all ECS movements to 'B' is 'Grosvenor Carriage Sidings' and the Platform allocation is 'B'. This is right, no? I haven't tried 'A' yet as the two ECS's were for B sidings. Any ideas if this a bug or something I've done wrong in the TT editor please? Log in to reply |

I've been writing a timetable for Vic Eastern and I haven't encountered this problem. When I was inputting trains bound for Grosvenor, I didn't stipulate whether A or B section - I just hit validate and got one or the other at random. On every occasion ARS has set the correct route and the driver happily taken it. Log in to reply |

Hmmm I'll see what happens with 'A' later, and if not maybe just leave the platform code out. I'll also add this is since the update too, which when I did it included a download for the new loader and for Victoria Eastern and I believe Victoria Central

Right, just to be clear, this is a timetable you are doing, creating trains between Vic station & Grosvenor sidings. If so then once you've added the trains to the timetable do they validate okay? If it's not and it's a case of your running an existing TT and you are having issues routing the trains then post a save of the session here with details of which train is causing you issues.

There appear to be two possible locations for Grosvenor Sidings. Grosvenor Carriage Sidings and Victoria Grosvenor Shed. James has used the latter. If you change it to the former, drivers accept the route without question. Log in to reply |

" said:There appear to be two possible locations for Grosvenor Sidings. Grosvenor Carriage Sidings and Victoria Grosvenor Shed.Ahhh! That would be why! I must admit I never even looked for it. It's my fault as I couldn't be bothered to figure out the locations for the ECS moves and simply copied how it is on the default 2009 TT, as they all use location Grosvenor Carriage Sidings. Thanks for the test John, I'll patch up a fix soon Log in to reply |

Was this bug ever logged? It's still present, despite several updates to VicSE.
