These two would be good and perhaps the wimbledon end of waterloo would make a very decent chain.

Sadly Woking is an IECC therefore (I think) on the 'conflict of interest' list. Feltham might be interesting though. Log in to reply |

Erm, are you sure Woking is an IECC? It's a Panel Box that has been in for a while...

I'm pretty sure Woking still has a panel - haven't been able to find any pics of it online though.

Woking is a panel, and has recently been extended to cover Farnham and Aldershot boxes former control area.

I'd really like to see more of the SWML simulated. Eastleigh has been on my personal wishlist for a long time, as has Basingstoke (Salisbury would also make a nice small panel for beginners or for chaining)... but these areas (Feltham and Woking) would be fun too! We'll just have to see what the SimSig devs have in store for us

I would think Basingstoke and the Woking Extension to Farnham and Alton might be off limits, as although they are panels, they are driven by Westcad. Woking proper won't be on any ban list though, and I'd imagine if Basingstoke is ever a contender, the old recently retired panel would not be off limits, and the only major change you'd see between now and then is that some platform allocations on the current timetable will not quite work for terminating trains. " said:" said:It was open a couple of years ago when I visited, but is/was due to transfer to Basingstoke so I was told. (has that happened yet?). its the large PSB looking building to the south east of the station, two positions (prior to aldershot et al closing), one large overview panel, and a smaller panel, similar to London Bridge or Victoria.Woking is a panel, and has recently been extended to cover Farnham and Aldershot boxes former control area.As well as that of Ash Vale. No Woking is staying put for a while. Basingstoke only has Basingstoke, West of England (Gillingham - Honiton), and Dorset Coast (Poole - Wareham).

I vote for Basingstoke as well. Many Passenger and Freight services. I see and hear them every time I pass by or under the station.
