I'm not able to edit the TT. I can open the editor and then the TT trip editor, but after I make the changes (or even without any changes) the "ok" button doesn't work. It gets pressed, but then nothing happens. Same thing happens with the "next/insert" button. Only the "cancel" button works. The problem is with both the loader and non loader sims. This did not happen before. I've played Gloucester where the Lickey banker needs to be edited and it worked fine. I've also done other minor edits. Log in to reply |

Have you tried reloading the System files to see if it fixes your problem? Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

As Barry alludes, it might be your computer with an issue since it hasn't happened before. I'd suggest saving the game and restarting your computer as a first port of call.

Also are you running under Windows or something else? That too could have a bearing on it.

When you click 'Next', is there definitely a location selected? Attempting to click 'next' with a location of (None) produces the behaviour described.

I had the same problems, I resolved it on the home pc installing Windows 7 (I had Vista before), but I still have it on the portable, which runs XP, and still haven't found a solution and don't understand why this happens. This was my old post Last edited: 01/11/2014 at 13:19 by Aaron86 Log in to reply |

" said:hello barryThe Loader needs to know where your files are located. Check "Folder Options". If that does not fix things, we need to know the Directories where your Simsig files are located. " said:I updated to windows 8.1 still no improvement. Are you using a Desktop or Laptop PC? What anti-virus software are you running? Suggestion from a Microsoft Engineer is to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software {free version} and run a full scan on your computer. It will quarantine any suspect files. Run Simsig and see if your problem has been fixed. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

I'm using a Laptop, with avast antivirus free version. I've run adwcleaner (for adware) before, I'll try out your suggestion of Malwarebytes and report back. Log in to reply |

Have you got access to another computer where you can try what you are trying to do and see if it works there. Might eliminate some variables if it works there and not here or does not work there either. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

I tried it in another PC (Win 8.1) and it works fine there. @Finger In this screenshot only 'cancel' button works. 'Next/Insert' and 'ok' don't work which means I can't save any changes. Your arr and dep fields are blank. Put 00:00 in if you don't want a specific time there.

If it worked in another 8.1 PC ok, then I believe you have Administration problems. Windows 8.1 is extremely complex. Aaron86 fixed his problem by reinstalling the Operating System. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |
