I've found that the auto workings at Gourock and Largs will ignore reminders while the Reminder Override button is being operated.
This is easily testable by e.g.:
1. Activating Gourock auto working
2. Collaring PU113 at Gourock
3. Operating the TRTS for signal PU113 (no route will set)
4. Pressing the Reminder Override button (a route will set automatically despite the reminder being present)

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

The same occurs with the Moorgate Auto Working on KX, but not with the full ARS on Marylebone.

Having thought about it I think in this instance it's doing what its supposed to do. If you press the O/ride button in normal running that allows you to then set the route manually. In this case the auto-working should set the route but is inhibited till you press the O/ride button.

I'm not sure that's exactly what you want. I haven't played it yet, but it sounds to me like if you press the "reminder override" button to set a route between two completely unrelated signals, you could suddenly get some routes set you really don't want to be.

If it's expected behaviour, why does it not apply to normal ARS too?

Quite so. If I hit the Override button, I don't expect ARS/Auto Working to decide which signals I want it to override - I should have to explicitly tell it which signal to override. That's like saying if I click the "Collar" button, it should treat every signal as collared!
