Is there any way to change timetable so that all trains in timetable appear in a sim.

Opening the timetable and unticking the 'Runs as required' box will force a lot of entries. Other trains will have rules that make them mutually exclusive with other trains (i.e. either train can run, but never both), and deleting these rules will make the trains run. Beware though- the rules are there for a reason. Freight trains often share paths with other trains that run on different days or are alternatives, and you could end up with two trains needing access to a one-train-only dead end branch like Benbane at the same time.

It is possible but not necessarily easy if you are new to the sims. Be aware that by doing this many trains (freight) are designed in the TT as either or and will have the same paths as each other so is likely to cause delays within the sim. Firstly you would need to open F4 menu, highlight a train and click edit. Then make sure that in the train details panel the services options box is unticked (or ticked with 100%). You would need to do this for all the trains you wanted to run and then check if there are any rules associated with the trains which would still prevent them entering. You would then need to save the TT (different name to the original) and reopen the sim and start a new session as changes through F4 will not affect trains already entered (or those greyed out not due to enter due to rules etc) Hope this helps and makes some sort of sense to you Gareth Edit steamer posted while I was still typing Last edited: 22/12/2014 at 11:10 by TimTamToe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: flander |
