Is there any way to find version number of currently playing sim without exiting it and restarting? SimSig Loader Version is listed in Help/About. Current timetable name and version is listed in F4 > General > Timetable Name. Thanks Log in to reply |

Thanks Clive for adding it to the wishlist. The typical need for this arose when I was playing Swindon and needed to look up the Wiki documentation. It listed some changes made in V2.2.7. I couldn't find which sim version I was playing.

Aha - it was the mysterious word "data" that threw me off. Why do we need it, why not just "Simulation version n.n"? To make it even more obvious, include the name of the sim, e.g., "Exeter simulation, version n.n" - to make it clear this has nothing to do with the loader code version, even though the version numbers might be almost identical. Thanks Steamer for enlightening me. Last edited: 17/01/2015 at 12:17 by maxand Log in to reply |

The sim file is the simulation data. The loader takes the data in from said sim file and generates the sim from it. Log in to reply |
