Can I confirm the following chain arrangements before updating the Wiki? Victoria South Eastern- chains to Victoria Central (all eras), Wimbledon (all eras), Waterloo (all bar 1980), West Hampstead (all eras bar 1980) Victoria Central- chains to Victoria South Eastern (all eras), Wimbledon (2014 only), Wembley Main Line (all eras). Waterloo chains to Victoria South Eastern only, chaining to VC or Feltham would result in missing trains because not all fringes are covered. All other chaining as expected? All correct steamer. From a default TT standpoint (as default TT writer for Vic, Wim and Fel), VictoriaC's timetable needs updating to work completely error free with Wembley and Wimbledon, that's in progress but I have more important, non-timetable SimSig projects to finish first =P Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Steamer |

I believe that Victoria SE no longer chains with Waterloo. No idea why. I might be wrong about this, though.

Given that there is no longer a connection at Battersea Park between VSE and VC, can they still chain if Vic Central is in 2014 mode?

Kaiwhara They can indeed utilising the connection between 'D' Section on VicE and 'E' Section on VicC not to mention the Battersea Reversible. Paul You have to get a red before you can get any other colour Log in to reply |

Hi Paul. What I am meaning is, how does VSE handle the stub at Battersea Park Platform 2, now that that does not go anywhere? Does that bit of the chain work on the VSE side? Andrew Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait! Log in to reply |

They can still chain/run as normal, Battersea Park platforms 1/2 become a terminus for trains from Wandsworth Road

But I believe the fact still remains that despite things being the same, the chaining functionality was removed between Waterloo and Victoria SE. Feel free to test it.

Waterloo should not be considered able to chain reliably with anything any more. Latchmere Junction in particular is too complicated what with three simulations chaining in close proximity (including Longhedge), in several eras, without adding another sim into the mix as well. It might work in places but is not guaranteed or supported.

Does that bit of the chain work on the VSE side?Hi Andrew, I seem to have gone for the wrong part of the chaining, oops. As others have posted this will cause no problems, in a lot of timetables some of the trains on the South London line between London Bridge and Victoria terminated at Battersea Park in platform 2 while the connection was still there. During rush hours in a timetable I'm working on at the minute (usual time scales apply before anybody even thinks of a question ) there were not the paths available between Battersea Park and London Victoria for the service off the Atlantic lines to run to Victoria.
