Available here This timetable is fully compatible with my Westbury and Exeter TTs of the same name, and will be compatible with forthcoming Swindon and Gloucester TTs. This timetable replicates a typical summer Saturday in the Bristol area. The timetable is quieter than a weekday one, but it does have busy moments thanks to additional express services provided for holidaymakers. Bar a few minor tweaks, rolling stock allocations are accurate for FGW services. Train times have been taken from Open Train Times and Real Time Trains, with freight headcodes taken (where possible) from Network Rail's online WTT. Thanks also to Officer Dibble for providing me with diagram and rolling stock information. First Great Western First Great Western operate all local services in the area, and expresses to and from London. 2tph Paddington- Bristol, with extensions every 2 hours to Weston-Super-Mare, and extensions throughout the day to Taunton and beyond. 1tph Paddington- Cardiff via Hullavington and Bristol Parkway 1tph Portsmouth- Cardiff via Westbury and Bristol 1tph Westbury- Gloucester via Bristol, can start/terminate at a variety of destinations throughout the day 1tph Taunton- Cardiff 1tph Weston-Super-Mare- Bristol Parkway stopping service 1 train per 45 minutes Bristol- Avonmouth, extended every 2 hours to Severn Beach Additional trains run throughout the day, including a return HST working to Weymouth. The Up Sleeper also runs through Bristol, worked by a Class 57 hauling 8 coaches. London services are operated by HSTs, local services are a mixture of classes 150, 153 and 158. Cross Country Cross Country operate long-distance services between the north east and south west. 1tph Plymouth- Edinburgh, can start/terminate at a variety of destinations throughout the day. 1tph Manchester- Bristol, with extensions throughout the day to Paington. CrossCountry operate a mixture of Classes 220 and 221 on these services, with the occasional HST. I've been unable to find 220 and 221 diagrams, so all other services have been assumed to be 221s. HST diagrams are accurate. South West Trains Oeprate a handful of trains per day between Salisbury and Bristol, operated by class 159s. Freight Freight services included are those which ran on 16/08/2014. There is much less freight around than on a weekday, and most of it runs in the morning. A hanful of trains go to Avonmouth BHT, please remember that a bug prevents use of the loading hoppers on Version 2.202 (the .exe release avaialable when this timetable was written), it is recommended to reverse 6B66 on the Loco Release road. Towards the end of the timetable, a number of Engineers trains enter the area heading to various posessions. These trains must be held to time where possible. There is an overnight posession between Bath and North Somerset Junction. If everything is running on time, 6Z66 should be the last train to pass Bathampton junction in the Down direction. The last passenger train is 2V96, if this or any other Down train has yet to pass Bath, 6V66 MUST be held in Bath Loop. Similarly, 6Z65 MUST NOT pass North Somerset Junction when heading towards Keynsham until 2C38, and all other Up trains, have passed the junction. Other notes Platform allocations are mostly as per the WTT, with a few tweaks to remove conflicts. Known Issues 4V56: A couple of simulation bugs mean that this service requires manual intervention. On arriving at Chipping Sodbury, the train detaches 0V56 to run round the train. There is no timetable location that allows reversing at signal 802. To work around this: Using F2, abandon the train's timetable. Reverse the train so that it is facing in the Up direction, and if necessary use the Shunt Forward command to get it moving. When the train is behind signal 802, reverse it (you may wish to operate the replacement control on signal UB103 to make sure the loco doesn't end up in Swindon). Then, re-assign the timetable via F2, setting the next location as Westerleigh junction. Route the train according to the timetable, and it will reverse at signal 605 without intervention. There is a bug that prevents 0V56 and 4V56 coupling automatically, so when 0V56 has re-entered Chipping Sodbury loop, use F2 to reverse 4V56 and the two will join. 2C98: 2C98 should run from Bridgwater at midnight, however seeding is not currently possible on Bristol and no reversing location exists at signal 618, so the train has been omitted from the Bristol timetable. It is included in the Exeter timetable, but please note that 2C98 won't appear on Exeter when the two are chained. The train simply terminates at Exeter and proceeds directly to the yard, so the Exeter simulation won't be affected. 6A11: Does not run in the 04:45 start. As with 2C98, there is no suitable seeding point, and the effect on the Westbury simulation is the same. Please feel free to ask any questions, or report issues and bugs below. Enjoy! That's bizarre- there was definitely something in it when I submitted! Please could an admin take a look at it? I can re-upload if need be. Very odd, shows file size "95.05 Kb", but nothing there, might be something to do with overwriting previous version. Can you upload again please steamer? Edit: I've reloaded the the copy I sucessfully downloaded, can you check and see if that's OK now? I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Greetings all, I'm currently refreshing my knowledge of Bristol using this timetable but the 04:45 start, any idea why I get penalised for regulating trains into the "wrong platform" when I'm running them into the booked platforms as per the supplied timetable? Example I just had a alert that 1L14 booked into Platform 3 at Bristol Parkway was routed into the wrong platform even though I routed it into Platform 3 as booked, is this a bug of Bristol's? That said, there are some rather interesting workings I've seen in this timetable Log in to reply |

" said:Looks like a bug with Bristol Parkway, I've just fired up an old save of this timetable for the time in question and got the same messages. Seems to affect every train. Probably still the same bug? http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=33&id=34956&Itemid=0#42963 http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=33&id=213&Itemid=0&limitstart=0 Maybe worth adding it to to the wiki, like the strike through for the current BHT bug? Hi, the wrong platform reporting at Parkway is a known issue. I believe it also affects Parson Street. The other issue with this sim is that the north coal bunkering lines at Avonmouth in the modern mode hold the trains at 0mph so they never get out! Need to use the top LR line instead. It would be good if this sim could be updated and Made into a loader version.
