Can anyone help me with a diagram problem? I'm trying to work out which cross-city services are 6-car. I've been using the public timetable as a guide (which shows the number of carriages on each train), but it's throwing up problems- services which are shown as 6-car in the morning peak re-appear in the evening peak on 3-car services. Are there untimetabled shunts somewhere? There are some joins/splits at New Street, which I've entered, but even then it doesn't balance up.

Thought that was what they were Peter.

Not sure about currently (too far up north from me and couldn't find anything in my files) but have found cl323 diagrams from dec 2012 if that will be any use as a guide for you Rick.

PM if you want them sent across

Gareth

Rick what date are you looking for ? Current timetable?

Thanks for the offer, but I think they'll be well out of date- Redditch now gets three trains an hour, and 323s have been released from Wolverhampton- Walsall by 350s.

Thanks- just what I was after. Matches up with everything in the public timetable as well. 2P23 does split at New Street, with the rear unit heading empty to Soho. 2U22 was the source of my confusion- it drops a unit at Four Oaks, which then attaches to the next service into the bay which forms 2N32.
