Hi all. Making my debut here at SimSig. My name is Mark, known professionally as MarkT. Currently work in the station enviroment, looking to use SimSig to aid my ambition to get into signalling or train planning. I remember SimSig from many years ago, when it was "free" and noticed how much better it is now. Hope to make some friends with a similar interest, not just in the areas mentioned but also other rail knowledge. I love trying to absorb information... Log in to reply |

Welcome, MarkT. There are still free sims available. To see them, log-in and go to Browse Downloads-Official Software-Simulations (Donationware). Downloading King's Cross is mandatory! Some sims run as stand-alone programs (called .exe files). The newer ones and the updated ones are not programs at all. They are run by the SimSig Loader (a separate program). Whatever else you do, join a multi-play online session as soon as you can. No previous experience is necessary. See you in a game soon.
