Crewe Boxes would be a nice simulation, for example from Basford Hall Junction to Crewe Coal Yard.

If only I had access to the dev stuff because I have some stuff that could make it!

I'm sure that information could be useful for the development team. Not promising it can be made, but the more information made available the better.

If anyone has signalling information that could be used to develop a sim, we'd be interested. Please send Geoff or myself a sample of the material you have so that we can assess it (and also check to see if we have more than one source for the same location).

The sort of thing we need is scheme plans and interlocking tables. Proposed screen layouts of the sort seen here, pretty though they may be, are of no use whatsoever at this stage, since they don't contain the important information we need.

So, if you have useful information, we're interested. If there's enough there, it probably will eventually turn into a sim. (The sim I'm working on right now started with an external offer of information just like that.)

The SimSig editor. It's restricted to devs only.

No it wasn't!

Back end of this thread explains it.

Interestingly, no comments on the fact that Clive's screenshot link took us to a German sim? Could we be being teased here about a direction Simsig may be taking at some point in the future?

Sorry to disappoint, but it was just the first one I found on a thread about using a text editor to draw sims.

Were it so, given I understand Simsig can display any form of signal you like, I'd have expected to see German-style signals. I mean, really, can you imagine Simsig doing a mainland sim with UK signals?

Blimey, I've never seen any group of people quite as excitable as Simsig players who think they might be getting a new simulation! Except for Geoff's announcement about upcoming sims a few months, is there any record of "hints" being dropped publicly since betas stopped being released?

There's perhaps no 'record' per se, but people have dropped subtle (and not so subtle) hints.

Not excitable Danny. Just a casual, partly tongue-in-cheek, observation that did what it was intended to do, provoke some debate.

I was just thinking after a few months that if Winsford and Crewe boxes you merged into one sim then it would be a decent length sim, you could do it from Basford Hall Junction - Weaver Junction, Crewe Steel Works, Gresty Bridge, Sydney Bridge Junction and then the Pottries line to Kidsgrove which the PSB actually controls and each box could be a workstation, and the crewe and Winsfords two panels each could also be a workstation each.
