When I was signalling an ECS from Springburn to Eastfield the driver incorrectly reported a wrong route being set. The route was set from CC320 to E4. Interestingly when I told the driver to ignore the timetable the train description incorrectly stepped to CC303. Log in to reply |

Ah right now I see- you routed it via 534 (which is fine) but that's why I could not find the error when reported yeterday. It's not the way I'd have routed it but all fixed now. (Ex 536 also fixed) Thanks Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

I see what you mean now regarding the routes, avoiding 534 means that the main line isn't occupied for the move. Out of interest do you know why some moves with subsidiary signals can be signalled as complete moves (I think there is one in Wesbury when you can go from Main to Yard with intermediate shunt signals cleared automatically and some you need to do 1 signal at a time? I suppose the question is whether it would be easy for the signaller to signal the move from CC320 to E4 and avoid the need to set CC532.
