Please note: This timetable is NOT compatible with the 2015 timetable supplied with Leamington Spa.

Description

This timetable should be run in the 2004-2007 era. An 0445 start is included.

A 2015 weekday timetable for the Coventry simulation. Times have been taken from Open Train Times and Real Time Trains, with freight headcodes from Network Rail's WTT. Rolling stock allocations are for a typical day. Virgin Trains diagrams are from the VT Yahoo group. Thanks to JamesN for assistance with the other TOCs.

Passenger trains are based on 15/04/2015, freight is what actually ran on 18/03/2015.

This timetable is compatible with New Street 2015. Note that it is NOT compatible with the 2015 timetable supplied with Leamington Spa- if you want to try it should work fairly well, but some trains, particularly freights, may not have a schedule when they cross the boundary.

Service Pattern:

Virgin Trains

3tph Euston- Birmingham New Street, calling at Coventry. One train per hour continues to/from Scotland

These trains are formed of a mixture of Class 390s (9 and 11 car) and Class 221s, which are sometimes paired. Note that all northbound services, and southbound services from Scotland, run under Class 9 headcodes to differentiate them from VT services which run direct along the Trent Valley.

London Midland

3tph Euston- Birmingham New Street, calling at Coventry and various combinations of the local stations between Coventry and Birmingham International.
1tph Coventry- Nuneaton.

Euston services are operated by 350s (some of which are 110mph capable, the rest are 100mph), and the Nuneaton shuttle is a Class 153.

Cross Country

1tph Manchester- Bournemouth, via Coventry and Leamington Spa, operated by a mix of Class 220s and 221s.

Freight

The majority of freight traffic is intermodal traffic between the Midlands/North West and the south, particularly Southampton, along with car traffic. Most runs via Leamington and Three Spires Jn, with some routed via Birmingham International and the occasional train on the Rugby line.

Version 1.1 now available to download here.

This version fixes the timetable so that it is compatible with v1.4 of the Coventry simulation, which has added Three Spires Jn to the control area.
