Is it possible when using the sims individually to block the lines from the adjoining panels/workstations? I have a very inconvenient TCF at Milton Keynes and as its 0400 its much easier just to send everything on the slows. I've tried collaring signals and placing the BLOK description in the first available slot but the Northampton panel insists on sending things on the fasts still! Also, are there any plans to implement either hotkeys or the 1-9 quick move keys? I find these useful though on Rugby South the scrolling isn't too strenuous anyway! That aside, great sim(s)! There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |

On Rugby North (and I believe it applies to the other two), if you interpose blok on the FL trains will enter SL and VV, so if you blok both....

I've tried it on KR3266 (UFL Wolverton) with no joy; it isn't possible on any other signals prior to this as they are external berths.

Happened to experiment with this out of interest on Rugby North simulation (at the Stafford 'box (Rugeley Trent Valley) fringe) during a brief 'sampling' of the simulation after purchase and it worked fine there. However, to block the Down Trent Valley at the Brinklow Junction fringe the only way I could do so was to 'request' the slot ("OFFER"), effectively making the DTV the UTV, before down train would start entering on the UTV Fast. On both Rugby Centre and Rugby South nothing I have tried works and trains still enter despite having already interposed BLOK and trying many many other things too. Indeed, would be useful if this could be made a feature? Very annoying having to go through and edit every timetable entry for a line block I've made myself, for example.

BLOK is available on Rugby North, it just escaped the manual. I'll edit it at some stage. On the Down Trent Valley - input BLOK at 3415 signal On the Up Trent Valley (Down direction) - input BLOK at 9517 signal These will both divert trains via an adjacent line. On the Down Coventry inputting BLOK at 6551 Signal will hold all trains until it is removed. On the TV Chord inputting BLOK at 4257 will cancel any trains entering there (Simulating them being diverted via Aston). On the Up Fast (3534 Signal) and Up Slow (5532 Signal) will divert trains to the adjacent line Noisynoel Log in to reply The following user said thank you: 0causton0 |
