Hi all,

First post so forgive me. I'm running Exeter, latest version and latest loader. I started the game using the default option to block the Down? Main through Dawlish due to flooding etc although rather predictably a train has failed on the one remaining line and is going to be stood over an hour!

Therefore I've tried unblocking the Down to try and keep some trains moving. Using the Incident Control Panel I've removed all the engineering isolation etc on the track circuits and checked there are no TSR's or other blockages and everything appears to be clear but trains aren't moving through simply saying that are stuck due to a line blockage.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, if anything?

Thanks

It sounds like something else has been set by the developer to prevent trains running along the Down line. If you've removed all the isolations I don't think there's anything more you can do- it simply isn't possible to re-open the line once you've started the simulation in that scenario.

Nothing: f11 does not give you access to override all the commands involved in the SLW coding.

In the real world would you be allowed to override a blockage due to flooding or would you have to work your way round the problems?

Which is why I put in the code I did.

Or, to use golfing vernacular, play the ball where it lays. Sometimes these things happen, unfortunately. All you can do is work around it until the failed train is clear. It really tests your mettle as a Signaller when these things happen, and they do happen in real life (and far far worse).
