2E73 terminating at West Hampstead and forming 5J73 has overshot the platform starter before coming to a stand. This is the only instance of this I have observed on West Hampstead so far, however this also happened several times at Twickenham on the Feltham sim. WTT attached. Post has attachments. Is the train length is the same as other trains which don't overshoot?

Not sure if related but this happens at Chesterfield on the Sheffield sim heading north.

I can't comment on West Hampstead specifically, but for some combinations of train and location this is definitely prototypical. For an extreme example, when Grimsby Town was regularly served by HSTs, they would stop with the front of the train well in advance of the platform starter, fouling the level crossings at each end. Bumping this old thread - spotted this happening again on West Hampstead version 1.11, loader 4.5.4. Using 58050's new 1991 timetable: In the attached savegame, if you open while paused, 2B15 is stopped at Leagrave P1 having overshot the platform. Following train 2W03 also overshoots every time I load the save. This is different behaviour to what was previously reported here, where trains at Didcot Parkway would sometimes but not always overshoot. Loading the save was not a guarantee of it happening, in that case. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |
