Leeds features BDLY crossings at Barrowby lane and Peckfield. I can finsd no reference in the manual as to what a BDLY crossing is. Quail (as at 2006) lists them as UWC's. when I've been past on the train they appear to be UWC's.

At a guess, is it "Bridleway"? However, I'm not aware of those being treated any differently to any other UWC...

Quail (as at 2006) lists them as UWC's. when I've been past on the train they appear to be UWC's.The Sectional Appendix lists them as Peckfield Public BW LC Barrowby Lane Public BW LC (R/G) There's a couple in the Western Sectional Appendix listed with BW in the name and I know they're bridleway crossings so I can only assume that these are the same. Peckfield wouldn't be treated any differently to a standard UWC. Barrowby has the R/G lights but wouldn't be treated differently to a standard R/G crossing (MWL). What might be different is at some bridleway crossings they fit a coacting set of R/G lights at horse height to improve sighting for crossing users. A G****e trawl found this documented walk; https://www.walk4life.info/sites/default/files/walkdocs/walkdoc-57625.pdf. By chance the .pdf contains pictures of both crossings.
