Various trains 4N13/4 for example are probably supposed to reverse coming out of the yard to get to Metherley Junction. They do not do this. They stop half out of the yards and never reverse.

If you let them out onto the Down Main they reverse correctly from 908 even if ARS says they are off their booked route.

I don't have ARS enabled, and I let them run onto the mainline and they did not reverse. They remained hanging half out of the sidings and thence refused to move anywhere, even after abandoning timetable.

Agree with BarryM. The train length are likely such that they don't fit between S908 and S3855 signals. You should be able to tell if this is what is happening be paying attention to what the train is doing and the phone calls you get. If this is the case I would expect the train in the "F2" list should show as stopped at S3855 and still facing the forward direction. If S3855 remains at red, the driver should also call in and ask what to do. Simply set an onward route from S3855 so the train can pull forward enough that the back of the train can get beyond S908. They then should reverse as expected. Such a situation isn't common but there are several places where this happens on other sims and you have to signal beyond the first signal the train encounters in order to give enough space for the train to correctly reverse.
