So ive got edge hill and huyton licences and i can play them fine, however when i check for updates i get put in a loop. Click check for updates.... Update shows available for 'lime st to runcorn 15-10-09 (00:00 start) - wtt 1.0 for edge hill........ tick it and click next finished installing WTT installed Finished updating files Press next Update completed click close and then i check for more updates and the same happens. ok so i deleted all of edge hill manually and tried update. Now the same as above happens but with all of the files associated with edge hill! Reinstalled loader and everything updates and installs apart from edge hill. HELP! Thanks Log in to reply |

It does that but as I understand it the thing is loaded and is playable so you can ignore. I guess the next loader iteration will fix whatever the glitch is. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

The file being offered is a timetable update- there is a bug somewhere in that file that stops it disappearing after you've updated it. As Peter says, the simulation and timetable are installed and playable.

Only trouble is I manually deleted the edge hill sim and now that won't re-load even after reinstalling the loader. Edge hill isn't on my list of sims but tries to update and doesn't do anything even after all the success messages Log in to reply |

I've just tested this and there does appear to be a reloading problem if you delete parts but not the whole. I deleted the folder in the timetable and in the Simulation folders and although it said it'd reinstalled the folders never reappeared. However, if I delete the .sim file it all reinstalls OK. Have you made sure that there is no part of edgehill still on your computer somewhere? Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
