Picture sent to me from a friend who captured it while watching a film on TV. The film is set in Canada, but this might have been shot elsewhere or it might belong to a preservation railway that imported it. That headlight arrangement looks like it should be easy to identify, but I've had no luck. Last edited: 25/02/2016 at 14:34 by clive Reason: I forgot to include the image! Log in to reply |

It looks like Austrian Zillertalbahn No. 3 Tirol to me. I can't find a reference to anything similar in Canada. Peter Log in to reply |

However, I've found some photos online on another Forum and think it looks more like No. 5 (in the shots I've seen of No. 3 there is no maker's plate on the side of the tank). Have a look at the posting for 02/08/2012 here “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 27/02/2016 at 21:11 by postal Log in to reply |

And looking at the railway's own pictures, number 5 has a different motion and no oval plate on the tanks. It's also got two domes! Log in to reply |
