http://i.imgur.com/LvgbVU0.png?1 Guildford SimSig mock up. This one player sim would chain to Reigate (on Redhill Three Bridges sim?), Wimbledon, Woking. Drawn using Roadrunners program RIP Feltham Panel 1 Last edited: 05/03/2016 at 22:36 by madaboutrains Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Vortexhaha |

This is a terrific layout. When I first saw it, I thought it was a real SimSig simulation. Thanks Mada, for the promo for the Track & Signals Editor (draw your own layouts). But they are not as good as Mada's as he has gone to the trouble of adding colour using Windows Paint. That's a fine mockup, only thing I noticed was SimSig probably wouldn't have double DOFI arrows between Guildford and Shalford Junction. Didn't realise just how far it controlled either, it'd be quite a busy little sim, especially when chained. Not sure if Reigate would ever get added to Three Bridges/Redhill, or combined with Guildford (a-la Dorking/Horsham), or released on its own as a small beginner sim. Log in to reply |

Well drawn, Mada. One slight touch in your original post: you forgot to mention, though, that a Guildford sim would also chain to Feltham as Blackwater is under Wokingham SB whose area is on Feltham. If released at that size then a Guildford sim would need, to fit it all in without scrolling, 3½ screens I think. I wish I had RR's program as well. Would make an excellant sim, but it would need to be turned round, on the 1960s panel box, from the signalmans view of the panel, Woking direction was to the left and Farncombe direction to the right

Great picture, Mada. Please notice the MOST important item in the picture - the Mug. Anyone for a cuppa?
