Bristol Temple Meads P2 stabling..... 29/04/2016 at 20:38 #82051 | |

Hi all, I have been beavering away for the last 3½ months or so with my Bristol to Bath closure TT and have got all the trains in now: a total of 570 individual entries of which some are continuations of other workings. I have two ECS workings that get put into P2 (Motorail) at the end of the timetable and there is, of course, no further working for them to do. However the fact that there is no subsequent working causes them to flag up as such in the errors list. I would ignore this but presumably anyone playing the TT would, I guess, simply get a phonecall saying that there is a train at the platform's exit signal. Is there any solution to this, short of simply designating subsequent workings for these trains that will have been done earlier in the timetable? Once I have sorted this out I need to allocate the units for each train, which will largely be based on notes made during the day on which the TT is based. After that, all being well, I will release it. Dave Last edited: 29/04/2016 at 20:39 by DaveHarries Log in to reply |

There will be no phone call, it will just sit there. Provided that this is at the end of the timetable, and anything else booked into P2 can fit, this isn't a problem. Just a note for anyone reading this thread. The TT analyser warning can be suppressed in the loader sims by ticking "Berths here" in the timetable editor at the terminating location. This feature isn't available in Bristol due to its age. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

I'd say just leave it be. On loader sims, you could tick "berths here" in the timing point dialog which would get rid of the warning; Bristol has no such feature. AFAIK, the user will not get any phone call, the train will show "terminated, no further trips" in F2 and that's all.
