While running the Exeter sim, I cleared a route for a train to leave Hackney Yard and join the main line - No problem. However, I now cannot clear the route and so enable running under "greens" on the mainline. I have to tell each driver to run through a red! I've tried right-clicking over the points on the mainline and everything. Can anyone help before the number of SPAD's gets leaked to the press!!!! Thanks

hello and welcome to Simsig. you are trying to route between signals 670 and 86 yes? that should clear the shunt signal protecting hackney yard, then once out of the yard trains will be able to run on greens from signal 86. if youre still having problems can you post a screenshot please? hope that helps edit: looking back at your post i may have misinterpreted what you wrote. did you mean a train has left the yard ok, and now you have a train from exeter passing to newton abbot? The train has long since left the yard and yes there is now a service trying to get into Newton Abbott. Have just tried to paste a screenshot but will not let me paste it. Unless I'm doin that wrong as well (been good at that ever since getting married!) The train list is telling me it's run out of valid track.

ok, all i can think is that youve either locked the points (but you said youve clicked them....) or youve got a points failure. do the points flash when you try to set the route, or does nothing happen at all?

single left click = both points at the mainline and Hackney Yard flash. double click = solid line (route set?)

Most of the time you shouldn't need to click points to set routes, simply set it normally from signal to signal and the points should change and the route clear, providing there are no conflicts
