First of all I must say I'm enjoying all four of the latest sims (Tyneside, East Coastway and the two Leeds sims). Well done developers. I do have a timetable query though regarding empty units from Skipton Broughton Road Carr Sdgs in the Leeds Northwest sim. I'm currently at 0130 sim time and looking ahead to the ECS departures I notice that 5Q81 0303 dep and 5S05 0337 dep are greyed out in the F4 window. Closer examination of their timings shows them to only run 50% of the time. I'll happily stand corrected but I would have though that these ECS moves would run 100% of the time as they form passenger workings (or in 5Q81's case forms 5H81 for Hellifield) that would normally run EWD? The 'runs as required' box is not ticked, so the number is irrelevant- it could be 0 and the train would run. The reason it's greyed out is because it forms from a train (SD2A) that seeds in siding 2A at the start of the timetable, so it's already in the area. The sidings are not an Entry/Exit point.

Thanks Steamer, I missed the fact that the box wasn't checked, and also the fact that both are shown in the F2 window which I've had cause to look in for other reasons, which I also failed to spot. Thanks again, Phil. Log in to reply |
