2N08 is booked into Newcastle p6 at 0855 and it then sits there until 1326 when it departs as 2N29. This gets in the way of quite a lot of trains, so is this an error in the timetable? Kev Log in to reply |

No, it's as per the NR WTT so the signallers have to figure out on a daily basis what is best to do with the train.

I put 2N08 in P8 only to find another train was due. I ended up using P5 and P6 whilst 2N08 was in P8. The train due in P8 sat in P7 until after 2N29 departed. Log in to reply |

Another solution is to put it into one of the southern facing bay platforms - keeping the through platforms clear. Richard. Log in to reply |
