I've added a new page to the Wiki, explaining the basics of semaphore signalling from a SimSig perspective. The page can be found here, and may be of use to anyone struggling with any simulations containing semaphores. As ever, anyone can edit/add to the page as they see fit- I'm sure there are sections that could've been done better! However, I would ask that the explanations be kept as simple as possible and always related to SimSig- this page is not intended to be a definitive guide to semaphores in all their weird and wonderful forms. On a similar note, there are other pages on the Wiki that go into much more detail on Absolute Block both in general and in SimSig- please consider adding AB details to these pages before adding to the semaphore page. The link is now broken, and I can't find any links to such a page after the briefest of searches. (I note that this thread (and another) is showing in "Latest Posts" with a reply by dgfjgh, but no such reply is visible at the time of posting - is this another new forum oddity related to unapproved posts from new accounts?) (No I took the acetylene torch to the posts as they where spam, there's an open bug about deleted posts still showing as the latest post) "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |
