I am playing Exeter Version 5.1 with the Summer 2006 TT (v4.0). Train 1L26 (which was delayed due to an incident with another train) is waiting at Pinhoe on route to Honiton. I have repeatedly offered the train to Honiton and Honiton repeatedly declines the offer. Will Honiton ever accept this train? What happens now? An explanation or help would be appreciated. I have attached a saved game if it helps. Thanks It's now 07.16 and Honiton has wants to send train 1L95. I have given clearance in the hope that this was the reason for the previous refusals of 1L26. I did check the timetables for whimple and Feniton earlier to see if there was a conflict and there didn't appear to be. Will offer 1L26 again as soon as possible. Post has attachments. You need to click the ARR (arrived complete) button to put the block to N (normal) then you can click OFFER to get 1L26 accepted and on its way.

If I'm not mistaken I think that what you guys are telling me applies to 'Down Trains' when they have left the single line section. 1L26 is an 'Up' train travelling towards Honiton. According to the Exeter manual I have to 'Left click on the Offer button: Honiton will accept and the indicator will point to Accept. This just isn't happening. Edit: The time is now 07.33. I have persevered and at last 1L26 has been accepted by Honiton. I think that it must have been the Down train that Honiton wanted to send that was the reason for them 'holding' 1L26 at Pinhoe. Can any expert player of this sim confirm this? I suppose that 1L26 now being approximately 42 minutes late will cause some problems somewhere on the network - tough luck! On your save, the block instrument shows Train in Section, which seems to be a down train that has cleared the single line past Pinhoe. You have to press the 'Train Arrived Complete' button to reset the block to Normal, only then can you offer an up train to Honiton. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Ah, I see now. That must be the 2 little lines in the top section of the panel. I hadn't seen them move. Must have forgotten to press the 'Arrive' button last time a train cleared the single line section. At least that won't happen again. Thanks everybody.
