In the attached save, 2A04 has just set off from Troon, and is booked to call at Barassie. However, following the train on F2, it doesn't seem aware of this fact - it happily speeds up to 55mph, but upon hitting the Barassie Jn timing point (which seems to be PB268), it suddenly remembers and immediately applies its infinitely powerful emergency braking system to come to a stand at Barassie. The order of locations isn't a TT error (Barassie Jn can't be skipped). I note that the train comes to a stand in the overlap of PB268 - is the Barassie Jn timing point located (in sim) just beyond the platforms at Barassie, confusing the train? Alternatively, it could be that the core code isn't handling two closely spaced locations properly. The previous train, 2A02, showed the same behaviour. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Think you have found something I thought was possible but have never proved. If I'm right then should be easy to fix. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
