My printer seems to have given up so I was looking for a new one and found a HP D5560 which is supposed to be wireless interfaced which my wife thinks would be a good idea. Now the description refers to "Requires a WPS router with an integrated pushbutton " but I can't seem to find out what that actually means save that there are no buttons on my router. A search of the Belkin site I infer that it may not be that critical. Any ideas? Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Certainly some devices now have push buttons that allow the initial setup of the connection to be done more simply. It may be (I would say ought to be) still possible to set it up 'manually', and a quick look at the manual here looks like it has a section on "traditional wireless setup" as well as using the WPS button.
