I have recently purchased and downloaded this sim. But am frustrated by routing to and from Wolverhampton towards the Birmingham direction. Anyone got any suggestions. Log in to reply |

Any moves I try to make towards the birmingham direction, have to be made by passing signals at danger. There are two blue dots on the south of of the station at the junction. Which i have seen on the Derby sim with a similar effect.

The blue dots are "via" buttons and have to be used in connection with the route setting out of the station. Click the entrance signal, then the associated blue via button, then the exit signal. Your message window in the simulator is quite helpful, as it will tell you if you are trying to set an invalid route. Developers and forum contributors have spent a lot of effort writing up an excellent manual for Wolverhampton (as with all the other simulations), which can be found in 'User manuals & wiki' under the 'Documentation' tab at the top of this website. It's well worth a read - this and many other features are explained at great length there. Log in to reply The following users said thank you: piggybank, TUT, Trainfan344 |
