I notice that there is no warning that comes up on the messages if the player fails to raise the barriers at Coundon Road MCB in the 2004-2007 era sim. Is this typical of the signalling system?

No, but it represents the horde of angry motorists outside the box when the barriers stay down too long with no train!

Well considering the barriers were down for about an hour at one point without me noticing, then I've probably not made many friends.

Having worked Coundon Road in real life (2006 - 2009) before it closed, motorists of small vehicles had the option of avoiding the crossing as there was an underpass next to it, the number 5 bus had to wait!

Think the maximum time I'd had them down legitimately was around 15 minutes, and they got the bonus of getting to see the same train twice, in different directions, the Dogbox going Nuneaton towards Coventry and then back towards Nuneaton, with two liners and a water train thrown in too, all at ~8am in the morning!

And it wasn't unknown for one signalman (not me) to forget they were down, even though it was outside the window!
