1Q58 reaches Porth on the way to Treherbert. I would expect the driver to telephone for a token release, but nothing happens. After 2+ minutes, I clear VR304 and the train proceeds to VR302, the latest point at which a token must be released, but again no call. Assistance, please! Although the timetable would suggest that it would just pass, real world senarios would dictate that the driver would call and ask for a token regardless of whether the train was booked to stop there or not, but it appears the sim requires that the train have an arrival and departure time specified at locations that require the release or return of a token. On further testing, I have found that as long as "pass" is not tick for any location that a driver would call to obtain a token (Porth and Ystrad Rhondda) the train will call and ask for a token release, If however pass is tick then the driver will not call to ask for a token release. In my previous post I said that an arrival was also needed but I have since found that is not the case, as long as the train stops (ie, has : in the time like 01:00 or 01d00) and does not have "pass" tick. (ie / like 01/00) tested as follows original TT with passing at Porth and Ystrad Rhondda modified to stop at Porth and Ystrad Rhondda* modified to set down only Porth and Ystrad Rhondda.* *= NO arrival time added to either location and pass removed from both locations in both direction The 2 modified ones are the only ones to call in and ask for a token or to return it Last edited: 01/04/2017 at 16:46 by MarkC Reason: edited Log in to reply |

Trains with passing times will not generate the phone calls for tokens anywhere on the sim. In reality you cannot pull a token out of an instrument or insert one if you are still moving. TT fixed in version 1.0.3 for Karl to upload when he is available. Log in to reply |
