I am running the sim (in the modern era) and I was looking at possible exit points for the depot should I get a TCF at the south end, and I was trying to see if trains would exit at the EMU Depot up Carriage line and have the train reverse at Palace P1, I have found I can set a route from Sig 107 to Sig 111 to Sig 117, but trying to create or edit a timetable to enable the manouver I cannot get a valid route. I set entrance of "Hornsey Up Carr Line" then next point in TT of "Alexandra Palace (P1)" but get no valid route I tried adding "Hornsey Up Sidings" with and with out the platform/signal options. (see attached picture) with out any luck. would appreciate any help that can be given. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I suspect either (i) this is not a valid move, despite your being able to set up a route, or (ii) it is a valid move, but the routing information has got "lost in translation" from the old layout to the new. If you load up the sim with the old layout, it seems clear that the "Up Sidings" are going to be a red herring. And also, under the old layout, you can't (or at least I couldn't) set a route from what was then 101 to 111. So I think something, somewhere, is not quite right. Hopefully a bug report can be raised and investigated. In the meantime, bringing traffic out from Bounds Green may have to be a compromise solution. Log in to reply |
