2Q08 comes from Radyr and reverses at Ninian Park according to the timetable. It stops in the platform to reverse back via the Leckwith Branch to Bridgend. However there is no signalled move from the platform onto the Leckwith Branch. The driver rings in wanting authority to move. Is this usual practice to do a timetabled "unsignalled" move? If it is then this should not happen in rhe real world. If there is no signalled move, the train should be reversed at a location where it can be signalled to do such a move, where it gains security of the interlocking to do the move and not rely on the Signaller to set up a route and protect the move each time.

As such, the sim isn't quite an accurate match for the timetable period. There are now Main Aspect signals at both ends of both platforms at Ninian Park, which weren't there in the days Cardiff Panel controlled Ninian Park. Suggested TT fix; as I agree with your sentiment that a manually set route seems very unlikely. Suggested timetable fix would see 2Q08 reverse behind C320 on the Treforest Single. Thank You JamesN, that explains it. I have already done what you have said about re-timetabling the train.
