Hello Everyone, I have just uploaded, and approved, is my 'Along Cambrian Lines' Gala timetable pack, featuring 3 timetables from the Friday to the Sunday. Please see below for the full description. I have also including my notes I used when writing the timetables, to help out if you would like. Please enjoy Along Cambrian Lines Gala 8th, 9th & 10th April 2016 Introduction First and foremost thank you for downloading my interpretation of the Llangollen Railway’s Along Cambrian Lines Gala, this series of timetables have been written using the timetable in the souvenir guide and therefore all light engine, ECS moves and shunting patterns are taken as ‘best guesses’ as to what would’ve happened. I hope you enjoy Staged between the 8th and 10th April 2016, the Along Cambrian Lines Gala aimed to recreate the atmosphere of rural BR Western Region steam during the 1950s and 60s. Starring at the fleet were 2 guest locomotives, as well as 4 locomotives from the home fleet. 2 5 vehicle Mark 1 rakes were available, as well as a mixed traffic set and a suburban set, and evening trains were ran to Glyndyfrdwy on the Friday and Saturday Locomotives GWR ‘4500’ class 2-6-2T No. 4566 BR 4-6-0 No. 7820 ‘Dinmore Manor’ BR 4-6-0 No, 7822 ‘Foxcote Manor’ GWR ‘5101’ class 2-6-2T No. 5199 GWR ‘64xx’ class 0-6-0PT No. 6430 BR ‘Standard’ 4MT class 2-6-4T No. 80072 Operations Notes Included in this upload are instructions for each of the main stations, Llangollen, Glyndyfrdwy and Carrog, these again are constructed by me and used to aid in the creation of this timetable, I have included them as I feel they are useful aides in the signalling of an intensive timetable of this branch line. Take extra care where trains are double headed, to ensure locomotives join in the correct order. I have tested all 3 of these timetables all the way through at least 3 times each, however some issues may still remain, please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel a fix is necessary. Timetable rules are provided at passing loops, to simulate the time taken to exchange the token, in times of late running you may choose to pass trains at other loops, and the rule will need to be abandoned in such a situation. At Glyndyfrdwy, once a locomotive has run round it’s train, you may wish to tell it to reverse in order to avoid fouling the crossing for extended periods of time. Final Notes Once again thank you for downloading this timetable and taking time to read through this guide, please ask any questions you wish, I am always active on the forum. And enjoy.
