I am playing the Peterborough sim 'August 2012 Weekday' senario (with Loader 4.6.4) when, at approximately 17.18, train 1E04 is at signal 423 on the DT line and I have a message which states that an incorrect route has been set. This seems odd to me because as far as I can see from the TT etc. the route is correct, or am I missing something? Please see the attachment. This isn't the first time this has happened, but on the previous occasion, when on the Down Fast at Huntingdon, I just shrugged my shoulders, cancelled the route and reset it into Platform 3. Is this a situation that I can rectify somehow or a problem with the sim? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. It may be due to 1E04-2 having a timetabled stop on the thru line and normally this cannot happen, for the train to accept the route and stop as timetabled the location and time for peterborough would need to have "Thru line stop" ticked, otherwise the train would need routing to a platform, having "Thru line stop" ticked the train will route correctly. I don't know if the train having a thru line stop timetabled in, in the timetable is correct, but that from what I can see is the cause. Log in to reply |

Is it something that I can edit? I can't see how though.

The train is TT'd to stop but it is a mail which has no business to transact at Peterborough so the stop is presumably for crew change purposes and is not booked to take place at a platform. If the train is already present in the sim you can change the TT by going into F2, right clicking on the TD and selecting "Timetable Options" then "Edit Timetable". If you then go to the Location List tab and double-click on the Peterborough entry there is a list of check boxes on the right of the tab. Check the "Through Line Stop" box then keep clicking OK till you are back at the start. That does not save to the Timetable. If you wish to make the change permanent, find the train's TT in F4 and do the same thing then save the TT. If the train is already in sim, the change to the TT will not carry over so you will also need to make the changes through F2. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 10/07/2017 at 21:58 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |

If correct, knowing this can be very useful indeed. Thanks for your advice guys Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. The only crucial factor is to remember to save the TT. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
