Hi all, Using the Exeter Weekday 25/05/16 timetable (excellent piece of work - thanks) and trying to reverse 0Q01 at E730 signal at Exeter Central. The movement proceeds from P1 to reverse at E730 signal as shown in the timetable but fails to stop over E730 GPS and continues forward to EJ8 signal. Of course, attempting to manually reverse from EJ8 signal results in the movement coming to at stand at the LOS, as it should. I don't believe the reversal is working as it should unless I've missed something. Find attached screen grab and snapshot Vince Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Checking your attached save, the passing time box is ticked for the E730 location; unticking that box before the train leaves central causes the train to reverse properly.

Thank you and sorry for wasting your time - that was a case of looking for a difficult solution when the obvious was staring me in the face. Its probably not in the original timetable - I did go through the timetable adding a "d" to all of them so as I can make the choice as to when they move so its happened then. It is the first time I've used the Exeter sim so I guess I can hide behind that! Hi Vince, I looked at the original timetable and noted that there was no setdown time or passing time ticked. Unfortunately looks like user error :D Seriously though, thank you for the compliment. I do put a lot of work into these timetables (many many hours) and get little feedback, so it is nice to get some occasionally! Cheers Andrew Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait! kaiwhara in post 96342 said:Hi Vince,Andrew - Having only been on here for a few months I believe the collective users do not express their thanks often enough for the work that the Timetable Compilers do. I recently undertook, with my mentor Lyn Greenwood, a complete revision of Peter Bennet's 1977 Peterborough timetable, trying to eliminate a few conflicts, ensuring each train in the sim has a viable path and to make it work more efficiently with the loader sim. It made me appreciate even more the good work that the timetable compilers do. In just my revision, there were at least a couple of months of work so I'm very aware of the time to compile such a historic timetable would take. Again, thank you and thanks to all of the timetable compilers for the amount of work they do, pretty much all of it unpaid. Without their input, we have no Simsig Regards, Vince PS - I'm going to start a new thread on this subject, so standby...
