Need to put signals in rear to red (Emergency replacement) before the GF can be released.
I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

Hi everyone.
I have a minor problem regarding the release of the Torness GF in the Edinburgh 2006 sim, v3.238.2.

I found the above comment regarding its release from a post in 2010. However, I don't seem to be able to release the frame even though I've done what was suggested, as can be seen in the attachment. Note that I have the GF open although it can't be seen in the attachment.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that some GFs are 'time released'. Have I not been patient enough?
Could somebody please give me some advice as to what I'm doing wrong.

I have also attached a saved snapshot in case there is a need to play it through.

Thanks in advance.

There is inter alia a timer condition "stoptime" which is the time it is expected that the train will take to stop (it's an estimation based on line speed and length of TC) rather than an absolute fact of the stop. I.e. the train crew can't effect the GF release till the train has stopped for obvious reasons.

Thanks Peter. As I said above, it looks like I have to be patient then.

I would have thought that the GF would have released after 15 minutes. That's how long I have been waiting and it still won't release.
How much longer do I have to wait?
Several trains now backing up.

If your uploaded screenshot represents the current state of play, what is happening when you click on the F roundel of the GF, please?

I've wasted everyone's time. Sorry about that. I just didn'd see the Ground Frame Control Panel, probably because of its location above the track diagram, when I only looked below it.
A lesson well learnt! What an idiot I am.
