Current Lincoln is a Westcad so Geoff himself cannot do it, not sure about Sleaford, don't have my Quails on me, I think it is is a lever box.

the line from lincoln to sleaford and spalding is mostly leaver controled. the new lincoln power box fringes with blankney moore box at methrinham. the only power box type of control is at sleaford west which controls the boston end of the station but i belive theres plans to upgrade all that area and bring it all under a new power box at sleaford i belive yours paul Log in to reply |

All four boxes at Sleaford are mechanical, albeit controlling varying amounts of non-mechanical equipment! That's assuming that the planned resignalling in the area hasn't progressed further than I think it has... Boxes between there and Lincoln are Scopwick and Blankney, the latter fringing to the new box at Lincoln. It'd all be rather boring with current traffic levels though - perhaps less so with a more 'historical' service including the old layout at Lincoln.
